While many panel suppliers do not supply attachment channels and hardware, we offer innovative solutions for any installation condition. Our patent pending attachment methods provide flexibility of design, improve panel performance and simplify the installation process when hurricanes threaten.
Hurricane Hook™ – Header Attachment
Our exclusive Hurricane Hook removes the necessity of climbing ladders or using an H header channel at the top of the opening, yet provides the impact and wind pressure resistance of a direct mount attachment.
Hurricane Hooks are less obtrusive than most other types of mounting hardware, making them the ideal solution when low visibility is important.
Hurricane Hooks may be installed using standard F-Track or anchored directly to the building structure.
Retention Head System™ – Header Attachment
Panel Clip is VuSafe's patent pending enhancement to the standard H-Header system. By incorporating an integral positive lock system, Panel Clip combines the ease of installation of an H-Header system, with the impact and wind pressure resistance of direct mounting.

Ultra-F™ – Header & Sill Attachment
F-Track is the industry standard for leave-in-place positive attachment hardware. Not content with "standard" anything, we have improved on the tried-and-true F-Track by adding our exclusive back rail that accepts any of our buildups. Ultra-F can be used at the top and bottom of a panel to make positive attachment quick and easy, or to aid in the installation of Hurricane Hooks.
Ultra-LF-Sill™ – Sill Attachment
Ultra-LF-Sill can be used in place of standard F-Track or Ultra-F. In addition, the "L" flange along the bottom of the sill can be used to attach the track to a floor with removable panelmates for use with door applications.
Buildup
Our aluminum buildup profiles are designed to mate with VuSafe attachment channels. Buildup is available in three heights � 3/8", 5/8", and 7/8", which are used to adjust the depth of the mounting plane of attachment channels. This allows you to install extrusions over molding and trim and under sills with ease.
