Our VuSafe system is formatted to enable you to clearly determine the attachment style and assign a code for any mounting condition.
Attachment Codes are indicated along with a visual representation and a red arrow defining the measure points for "Finished Height".
The "Finished Height" (FH) dimension is a "tip to tip" dimension from the top of the header channel or direct mount attachment point to the bottom of the sill channel or direct mount attachment point.
The FH dimension is critical. The factory will use this dimension paired with the selected Attachment Code to determine the cut length of VuSafe panels for the location being measured.
Installers will also refer to this FH dimension and the Attachment Code to confirm the intended method of attachment and placement of channels or direct mount hardware.
Following this procedure will streamline the production and installation processes and will eliminate errors and waste.
Measure/Order
- Step one: Number and measure the opening (use the Location Worksheet template provided)
- Step two: Determine the Attachment Code and record the FH dimension
- Step three: Enter the values from written worksheet to VSMS* electronic form.
*VuSafe Management System allows you to enter the field data on easy to use forms with drop down menus for fast location retail costing. The worksheets report to a retail summary proposal format which can be presented to the client.
Once an order is accepted, the worksheets will translate into production order forms which are then simply submitted to VuSafe Industries, LLC. production.
